distress

Hi all, hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying the weather..i am!
This is another card for the same site as the last, but i am ashamed to say, i still can't remember what it was called.
This is very similar to one i saw on there, oh i am so mad with myself for not remembering what it was called, i even saved it into my favorites but it doesn't seem to be there anymore for some unknown reason.

distressing madness

I have had my distressing head on..... I saw a very similar card to this... On a website i have now actually lost and forgot the name of but there were so many fabulous cards on it that i just got so much inspiration i just had some cards.
I am loving all the Ranger and Tim Holtz stuff i just can't get enough unfortuneatly i can't afford everything all at once, so i have to make for do with little and often for now..lol
I have not been a very good blogger these past few weeks.
It's because i have got myself some new little friends... my 2 chickens, awe they are so sweet , there names are Thelma and Louise.
I have always wanted to own chickens since i was little, and now nearly half a century later i HAVE THEM woo hooo!!!
I am loving having them in my garden, feeding them and chatting away to them when it's a nice day.
when ever they hear me go into my kitchen the come scurrying to the kitchen door to see if i have any titbits for them.
My 2 dogs are quite good with them too, which i am pleased about. i also get 2 fresh laid eggs everyday, they are much nicer and tastier then shop bought eggs.

Happy Bank holiday

Hi everyone and happy Bank holiday,
Here are a few cards i made in the last few weeks, i can't sit on the chair at my desktop int other room, plus it's cold in there lol.
I'm not a very good blogger because of this but now it's getting warmer things might get a little better. I have made a few mens cards but i don't really like doing
them as i just there so boring lol. I am really into my distress inks and i think i am distressing everything that moves....
Well thats me for now hope you like my cards, i am going to look at a few blogs now to catch up on things

Thinking of you

This is a card i have made for my aunty to give to her friend... Her friend is very poorly at the mo, and my aunt didn't want to send her a get well card.
I don't know what this type of card is called but i liked the style of it.
I made it with bright colours as i thought this would cheer the lady up.
I cut the card to size then using my distress inks i covered it all over with mustard seed ink... i then got one of my swirls and i had seen Sheena Douglas doing this earlier on i spritz my swirly stamp with water and stamped and blotted with a napkin.. i loved the effect so much.. i then used the stamp again with the yellow stamp and stamped some more, then i did the same with the green.. how nice does it look woo hoo. i used a few sugar nellie stamps for this card Aril showers stamp was coloured with pro-markers and paper piecing..i love doing that technique. I then made a heart and a butterflyfor inside and back of the card.. i hope i have followed the design right the way through.. Well aunty Linda i hope you like and i;ll get it to you very soon.

An Easter treat

Happy Easter everyone.
i'm feeling the pinch right now.. in other words i am so skint lol.
I couldn't really afford any easter eggs this year, plus my brother and sister don't really like there children eating lots of chocolate.
But as the eggs were so cheap i couldn't not get a couple.
I wanted to make them a bit more special tho... I have used a Mo Manning digital image for my nephew.. coloured him with promarkers used some nice coloured card from my stash.. and even tho i say it myself i was really pleased with the out-come lol.
I used a gorjuss girl stamp for my niece i love these stamps they are so cute coloured again with promarkers. even tho i know that they will just rip them open.. haha after my hard work i don't mind.
