sparkly tilda

Hey goodmorning all, it's not a bad day here at least it's not raining lol.

I just wanted to post some pictures of my latest christmas card, i'm not sure if it's very christmassy but hey we are crafters and can do pretty much what we want with a few stamps and embellishments.

I was going to enter this in the Magnolia Downunder challenge blog, you should go look it's a great blog.but it looks like i missed the deadline.. trust me..lol

I don't mind though as it gave me some inspiration to make this card, plus the theme was to make our own embellies so i made the roses on this card to be truthful i was quite chuffed with myself lol.

I coloured Tilda with my distress inks and some glittler glue.. i lurvvvvvvvvvv things that sparkle lol

and i used Eskimo kisses 12x12 papers i love the colours in theses papers.

PS is anyone else like me?..... I always have the best intention of making cards then i go blog hopping, and there are so many fantastic blogs in blog land that before i know it... ermmmmmmmmmmm half the day has gone so then i am crafting more at night time lol.

Little christmas knome

Morning all on this bright sunny saturday, it's bout time we had a bit of sunshine.
Love this little stamp... wee and reindeer from whiff of joy.
oh why do i never know what to write on here plus i always forget what papers i have used oh well will put it down to my age lol.
I do try to make my christmas cards in other colours than the usual green n red.
sorry about the photo's not being that good they look much nicer in real time.
Right i think i am going to make a mental note to myself that when i make another card,, which i might add will be very soon.. today me thinks i am going to get everything ready and write down all the things i have used ..if i remember lol.

Totally Tilda challenge

Evening all.
Just made this card i will try to enter in in the Totally Tilda challenge blog.

I found this blog today by accident and wow thought it was a great blog!!.

This is my card for that challenge so i hope you like it.
The theme is Blue and silver.
Hope i have met the criteria for this challenge too.
now the hard work is trying to link my project lol.. i am fully aware that i am hopeless in that department. but here goes..
I made my card as an easel card using spellbinders Labels 10.
I coloured my Tilda with the Aqua markers .. not got the hang of these yet but am getting better.
The papers are Best Creation inc from my local craft shop.
i added a little silver filigree heart as the silver element.Overrall i am quite pleased with this card.
Phot isn't very good but i sent it from my phone sorry about that.
roses and lace are from my stash.

1st christmas card

Hi everyone, well hope your all fine and dandy on this most wet and miserable friday, oh gawd the winter is really setting in now. Don't get me wrong i really love the dark cosy nights in sat at my craft desk just pottering about lol.

Well this is a tree christmas card, still not sure about it tho.

i have used Siku and Shiya from Mo's digitalpenciltoo site.

Merry christmas stamp set is from Paula pascual large christmas these are such a great buy!!

Papers are Basic grey jovial range.

The images are coloured in with my oh so trusty promarkers wow i love these pens there so fabby.

Hi folks hope we are all having a great day.

I know i don't get time to get on here much theses day, it's just i have another hobby, growing my own veggies and keeping 2 chickens...There so funny to watch and my garden wouldn't be the same without them anymore.. plus i get 2 lovely fresh laid eggs every day!! what more can i say.

Hi all, hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying the weather..i am!
This is another card for the same site as the last, but i am ashamed to say, i still can't remember what it was called.
This is very similar to one i saw on there, oh i am so mad with myself for not remembering what it was called, i even saved it into my favorites but it doesn't seem to be there anymore for some unknown reason.

distressing madness

I have had my distressing head on..... I saw a very similar card to this... On a website i have now actually lost and forgot the name of but there were so many fabulous cards on it that i just got so much inspiration i just had some cards.
I am loving all the Ranger and Tim Holtz stuff i just can't get enough unfortuneatly i can't afford everything all at once, so i have to make for do with little and often for now..lol
I have not been a very good blogger these past few weeks.
It's because i have got myself some new little friends... my 2 chickens, awe they are so sweet , there names are Thelma and Louise.
I have always wanted to own chickens since i was little, and now nearly half a century later i HAVE THEM woo hooo!!!
I am loving having them in my garden, feeding them and chatting away to them when it's a nice day.
when ever they hear me go into my kitchen the come scurrying to the kitchen door to see if i have any titbits for them.
My 2 dogs are quite good with them too, which i am pleased about. i also get 2 fresh laid eggs everyday, they are much nicer and tastier then shop bought eggs.

Happy Bank holiday

Hi everyone and happy Bank holiday,
Here are a few cards i made in the last few weeks, i can't sit on the chair at my desktop int other room, plus it's cold in there lol.
I'm not a very good blogger because of this but now it's getting warmer things might get a little better. I have made a few mens cards but i don't really like doing
them as i just there so boring lol. I am really into my distress inks and i think i am distressing everything that moves....

Thinking of you

This is a card i have made for my aunty to give to her friend... Her friend is very poorly at the mo, and my aunt didn't want to send her a get well card.
I don't know what this type of card is called but i liked the style of it.
I made it with bright colours as i thought this would cheer the lady up.
I cut the card to size then using my distress inks i covered it all over with mustard seed ink... i then got one of my swirls and i had seen Sheena Douglas doing this earlier on i spritz my swirly stamp with water and stamped and blotted with a napkin.. i loved the effect so much.. i then used the stamp again with the yellow stamp and stamped some more, then i did the same with the green.. how nice does it look woo hoo. i used a few sugar nellie stamps for this card Aril showers stamp was coloured with pro-markers and paper piecing..i love doing that technique. I then made a heart and a butterflyfor inside and back of the card.. i hope i have followed the design right the way through.. Well aunty Linda i hope you like and i;ll get it to you very soon.

An Easter treat

Happy Easter everyone.
i'm feeling the pinch right now.. in other words i am so skint lol.
I couldn't really afford any easter eggs this year, plus my brother and sister don't really like there children eating lots of chocolate.
But as the eggs were so cheap i couldn't not get a couple.
I wanted to make them a bit more special tho... I have used a Mo Manning digital image for my nephew.. coloured him with promarkers used some nice coloured card from my stash.. and even tho i say it myself i was really pleased with the out-come lol.
I used a gorjuss girl stamp for my niece i love these stamps they are so cute coloured again with promarkers. even tho i know that they will just rip them open.. haha after my hard work i don't mind.

Magnolia Heart

I recently got my first Magnolia magazine issue 2 i think. I was so impressed with it i just loved everything that was inside it.. all the inspirations and tips plus lovely pictures of many cards i just wanted to do everything that was in the mag..lol
I got the inspiration to do this little heart bag/box i'm not really sure what to call it.I love all the Manolia stamps but as i have only just started collecting them.. i have a long way to go yet.. but i have just found a site that sells a lot of these stamps that i am itching to get more and more.. but bank balance just tells me i have to wait aweeeeeeeeee!!!.
I coloure my images with distress inks.. i think i am getting better but still have a long way to go yet.
I made a smaller heart and decided to triple emboss it.. to which i then put it into the freezer for a bit so it had that cracke effect.
I then added some prima flowers i have in my stash and paper roses.
I really do hope you like as i enjoyed making it very much.

altered tin

This is a little tin i had kept from christmas.. it was originally a golf cup in a tin that my daughter bought her dad for christmas.
I didn't really know what to do with it really, but as i have never altered anything before i decided to decorate it and make
it my Magnolia stamp tim as it's just the right size.

card in a box

Hi every1,
What a fab sunday this is..hope every1 is feeling great and crafting... I am going to upload a few of my cards i have made over the recent weeks.. i have not been on here for a while as i have had a chest infection and didn't want to stay in my bedroom where the big computor is.. as it's a bit cold in there lol.
and as thats where my printer and scanner is hense why i have not uploaded anything till today.. i am not sure if i can put a few items on or not on the blogger but here goes.lol
This is a little box card i made a last night.. wasn't sure if it would go ok.. but i am pleased with it... i need to spend a little more time on the box decorating it me thinks. I used mulberry flowers for the box and used asitate for the heart i just thought it would be nice to see the card inside.

The stamp is called Dreamy and it's from my local craft store that is now selling the sugar nellie stamps whit-woooooo.

Wow it a fab saturday sun is shining and everyones smiling.card
Here is my latest card.. may i just say it took me hours to do..lol
I stamped out all the individual fruits then distress inked them all then put the card together i kinds like the way it looks ..all oldie worldy.
i then added a bit of lace and a few roses to try to compliment it all .

Friendship Tilda

Hi all
I made this card last night as i wasn't feeling too good and couldn't sleep.
She is one of my latest Magnolia stamps and i just thought she was so sweet.
I coloured her in with distress inks Papers are from stash and i made flowers up from the papers and used a couple of small brads for the flower centers. I honestly don't know why i used a white bow as it just doesn't seem right somehow.
I am going to try and link it up to the saturday sketch challenge but somehow i don't know if it will work.. lol

Oh my i so love the Magnolia stamps.. Tilda is so so cute and all the different ones you can get.. i can't get over the fact that this time last year i hated all stamps i thought it was just so messy with the inks and always got blotches on everything lol. but now i love it.
I am slowly getting stamps of all kinds for my stash and distress inks.
Tilda is coloured in using the distress inks i am not very good right now with them but i am learning. i have also used my Martha Stewart heart border punch with paper fromthe Bloom and grow pad and honey and hugs pad.flowers are from stash and scolloped circle are nestabilitues.

owly eyes

This is my owl card.. I loved this little owl stamp when i came across it in Hobbycraft store i love owls and i think there a big thing in the craft world right now.
I made up my own branch for him to sit on and coloured it in distress inks. i used 2 of the honey and hugs papers from the pad from papermania there all so cute and really worth buying.I only went to hobbycraft for ribbon but came out with lots more.. oh well you know how it is once you get into a craft store lol.

Well it's n ot a bad day in manchester quite mild really, and i'm feeling a little better today. I made this card a few days ago. The dog is made up from a template i traced from a magazine.. papers are from my minds eye.. Bloom and grow.. and the new honey and hugs pad from papermania. I used distress inks for the dog and from and my martha stewart punch.

Hi All.
Well it's Sunday and hope everyones well.
It's been a kinda long day for me as not feeling too good right now, but hey it's ok.
This is one of my new Tilda stamp and i just love this image.
I have used purples on this image as that seems to be the colour i am into right now.
Papers are from craft stash coloured in with my promarkers used my new nesties labels, flowers are from ebay. and Thank you stamp is from a really nice lady from another craft site.Thanks for looking everyone
